Full Job Description

About the Opportunity

An established boutique interior design studio in the Jacksonville Beach area is looking for a Junior Interior Designer / Design Intern to work directly alongside our lead designer. This is a hands-on, learn-by-doing role built for someone who is actively pursuing a career in interior design and wants real exposure to how beautiful, high-end projects come together from first concept to final install.

If you are passionate about design, eager to learn, and ready to be genuinely useful on a small, busy team, this is a rare seat next to an experienced designer where you will see and touch every stage of the process.

What You Will Do

Assist the lead designer across active client projects, supporting day-to-day design tasks and keeping projects moving.
Help manage material purchasing, tracking, and receiving, ensuring orders are accurate, accounted for, and on schedule.
Source, procure, and organize samples, and keep our sample library current and well maintained.
Take clear, organized meeting notes and help track action items and follow-ups.
Assist with field measurements at client sites.
Help with staging and installation, including preparing spaces and bringing final designs to life on install day.

Who You Are

Actively pursuing a career in interior design. We welcome students, recent graduates, and anyone genuinely building toward a design career, regardless of background.
Detail-oriented and organized, with reliable follow-through on tasks and deadlines.
A clear, professional communicator, both written and in person.
Comfortable in a hands-on role. Field measurements, staging, and installs involve being on your feet, lifting and carrying samples and materials, and working at client sites.
Reliable transportation for travel to jobsites and installs.
Eager, coachable, and excited to learn.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Canva, or Adobe Photoshop.
Coursework, projects, or any early experience in interior design or a related field.
A point of view and a genuine eye for materials, color, and space.

Schedule and Pay

Three days per week, in person, in Jacksonville Beach.
Paid hourly.
