Job Summary:

The Healthcare Finance Manager (Decision Support) is responsible for overseeing the organization's cost accounting and decision support systems to support strategic financial planning and operational performance. This role manages service line profitability analysis, productivity reporting, financial feasibility studies, and STRATA forecasting initiatives while providing leadership with actionable financial insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive healthcare finance experience and hands-on expertise with STRATA Jazz and financial forecasting. This is a full-time, onsite management position in Dover, Delaware.

Responsibilities:

Manage the healthcare cost accounting and Decision Support systems for service line profitability analysis.
Develop financial feasibility studies, reimbursement models, and capital investment analyses using STRATA software, including ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback calculations.
Publish monthly Service Line and Physician Practice Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and performance scorecards.
Collaborate with organizational leadership to review financial performance and develop improvement strategies for service lines.
Prepare reports for rating agencies (S&P, Fitch, DAC, EMMA), annual audits, FEMA, Single Audits, GME reporting, and community benefit reporting.
Train managers and directors on productivity software, financial reporting tools, and decision support applications.
Oversee ad hoc financial reporting requests and validate cost accounting data.
Support implementation and maintenance of STRATA forecasting, ERP, and leasing software systems.
Mentor the Decision Support Supervisor and Special Projects Analyst.
Participate in strategic financial planning and perform additional leadership responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Required).
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration, or related field (Preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare cost accounting, budgeting, financial planning, or decision support.
Required: Hands-on experience with STRATA Jazz (or STRATA financial software), financial forecasting, and healthcare finance.
Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, productivity analysis, financial modeling, and service line profitability.
Experience with hospital reimbursement, healthcare contracting, bundled payments, or physician reimbursement is preferred.
Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and project management skills.
No state license required.

Pay: $111,000.00 - $172,000.00 per year
