Desktop Technician - Deployment Project

Location: Houston, TX
We are seeking experienced Desktop Technicians to join our team for a large-scale deployment project. As a Desktop Technician, you will play a key role in setting up and configuring computer equipment, ensuring that all systems are properly installed, tested, and functioning as expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, image, and configure computer equipment, including computers, monitors, and printers
- Set up workstations, ensuring that all necessary hardware and software components are properly installed and configured
- Perform cable management tasks to ensure a safe and organized working environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the deployment process
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all equipment is properly installed and configured
Technical Requirements:
- Experience with Windows 11 operating system, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Active Directory, including user account management and group policy configuration
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, monitors, and printers
- Ability to work with various software applications, including Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Desktop Technician or similar role
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
