Full Job Description

Equity Staffing Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a busy outpatient clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care to adult patients. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, dependable Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a collaborative clinical environment and delivering outstanding patient care.

What You'll Do As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an essential role in supporting providers and ensuring a positive patient experience. Daily responsibilities include:

Room patients and prepare them for examinations and procedures.
Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other patient information.
Administer injections as ordered by the provider.
Perform point-of-care testing in accordance with clinic protocols.
Assist providers during patient examinations and treatments.
Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
Clean and stock exam rooms with necessary medical supplies.
Follow infection prevention, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
Provide compassionate, professional care while ensuring patient comfort.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support efficient patient flow.

Required Qualifications

Current Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in an adult care setting.
Strong clinical skills, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and performing point-of-care testing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience caring for adult patient populations.
Positive attitude with a patient-first approach.
Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
