The Fall River Deaconess Home is currently seeking a Nurse to join our residential healthcare team. This is a part-time position that includes full benefits. Recent graduates are welcome!
The Deaconess Home is a private, non-profit, community-based agency serving youth and their families. Deaconess provides educational, mental health, and health care services to youth and families. Deaconess offers a positive work environment where staff from all disciplines work together to provide high quality care.
Job Profile
The Nurse reports directly to the Nurse Manager and is a member of the overall agency team providing direct services to youth and their families.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Medication administration
- Triage of medical needs of the youth in the program
- Assistance with health record maintenance
- Direct resident supervision
- Utilize and implement behavior support techniques
- Reporting on youth quarterly progress towards health care goals
- Scheduling and attending health care appointments
- Review immunization records, order and administer necessary immunization
- Health care education to youth
- Participate in intakes of youth to the program
- Monitor weight and nutrition need status of youth
- Participate in the on call rotation

Schedule
Saturday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Sunday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license.
- Proven oral and written communication skills
- Significant attention to detail, and the ability to work collegially with a wide variety of individuals inside and outside the program
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass all necessary background checks
