Full Job Description

Social Media and Communication Coordinator (6-Month Contract-to-Hire)

Do you thrive in creative spaces and have a passion for social media, graphic design, and community? rek’-lis brewing co. is expanding its marketing team and looking for a passionate individual to help us grow our social footprint.

The Social Media and Communication Coordinator supports the Department of Marketing by managing day-to-day social media accounts, online customer communications, CRM programs, and developing brand visuals to tell our story.

This role is part-time (up to 30 hours per week) with a flexible schedule that can include working from home, weekends, and/or evenings. We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual who can manage their own schedule while hitting all outlined goals and deadlines.

Note: This is initially a 6-month temporary contract, but it has strong potential to transition into a permanent, full-time position at the end of the term.

Employment Type: Part-Time, up to 30 hours/week Schedule: Flexible (includes weekends and evenings as needed) Hourly Wage: $28 - $32/hour, based on experience Perks: Staff meals, plus discounts on beer and food!

Job Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day posting and scheduling on social media using Meta Business Suite and Instagram.
Manage event and entertainment promotions across social platforms.
Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages, as well as repost and respond to tagged user-generated content.
Assist in planning, drafting, and scheduling social media posts in all formats (static posts, Reels, Stories, etc.) in alignment with our content calendar priorities.
Develop CRM campaigns, including bi-weekly email and text message campaigns (using toast pos CRM).
Make changes and update working design files using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop).
Organize and maintain content assets in the rek'-lis photo and video database.
Coordinate with internal teams (brewery, restaurant, events) to identify, plan, and communicate upcoming content to our customer base.

What rek’-lis is Looking For:

Experience creating social media content, digital media, or storytelling (professional, freelance, or volunteer experience all welcome!).
Strong understanding of social platforms, especially Instagram and Facebook.
Graphic design background with a solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
Photography experience is highly preferred (but not strictly required). (we provide gear).
Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
Comfortable engaging with online communities in a professional, friendly, and on-brand manner.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
Preferred location in or around the White Mountain Region.
