Duties and Responsibilities:

Build and maintain a strong Logistics Team by:
-
- Hiring new team members
-
Training new hires
-
Implementing and monitoring that new procedures are being followed
-
Monitor team workload and support team members in their daily tasks
-
Conduct performance reviews and assist in development plans
-
Maintain comprehensive overview of all critical timeline projects to assist Head of Supply chain - in prioritizing resources for execution and delivery
- Follow and develop KPI goals and help team members achieve team and company goals

Assign and validate HTS code to minimize tariff impacts
-
Generate and maintain various reports on specific business objectives
-
Create and implement SOP’s and workflows
-
Assist in preparation and monitoring of annual budget (travel, training, and equipment) for team
-
Coordinate daily shipping and receiving and warehousing activities
-
Assign work and overseeing warehouse staff
-
Ensure accuracy of inbound/outbound shipments and create as well as maintain clear import and export guidelines
-
Negotiate and manage freight pricing
-
Manage raw material and inventory movements and documentation
-
Support and manage major projects to prepare for organizational growth
-
Maintain safety and compliance on the floor
-
Report productivity issues or process bottlenecks
-
Collaborate cross-functionally

Support the company’s strategy and values
Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED required
-
This position is onsite full time, willing to work overtime hours
-
3+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or related field required
-
1+ years of supervisory experience required
-
Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems, intermediate proficiency with Excel
-
Experience in inventory management and handling of raw materials
-
Experience with importing and exporting documents as well as HTS code handling
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
