Full Job Description

Company Overview

Freehold Group, Inc. (freeholdgrp.com) designs and produces experiences for some of the world's most innovative brands — Nike, Jordan, Gap, HBO, Jellycat, and more. From premieres and retail environments to brand activations and large-scale productions, we connect people to brands in memorable ways.

As a full service firm, we support our clients across strategy, design, fabrication, and installation. Our senior team members stays closely involved in every project, and will be available to hop on the phone when something has to be solved, even the night before doors open.

Position Summary

We are hiring a Producer to lead projects from creative handoff through final reconciliation. You'll run the show on $300K–$1.5M+ work, set the budget and schedule, manage the vendors and the install, and be the person clients trust to deliver ambitious work on time, on budget, and at the highest level.

What You'll Do

Own end-to-end execution of brand activations, retail builds, premieres, and tentpole productions across the US.
Build and defend budgets at the bid stage; manage them meticulously through delivery; lead reconciliation at close-out.
Source and negotiate with subcontractor and vendor partners, AV, lighting, scenic, freight, install crews, etc. - and hold them accountable.
Lead client communication on production matters once the project moves into execution. Clean agendas, timely recaps, no surprises.
Run point on-site. Tech-up, install, show calls, strike — you're there for the moments that matter.
Mentor coordinators and APs; loop them in early; build the bench beneath you.

What You Bring

7+ years in experiential production, event production, or retail build-out — at an agency, studio, or production house.
Demonstrated ownership of $1M+ projects end-to-end. Budget construction, vendor management, on-site execution.
Strong fluency with fabrication, freight, AV, and install. You read shop drawings, floor plans and tech drawings; you know how to avoid the pitfalls.
Calm in chaos. Direct in the room. Generous with juniors. Honest with clients. Able to have tough budget convos with grace.
Working command of Monday.com, Harvest, Google Workspace, Slack. Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
Willingness to travel 1-2 weeks a month
