JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Vice President of Sales at Maxwell TEC, you’ll be responsible for driving new business growth within the home health and hospice space by introducing providers to our full suite of offerings, including Maxwell TEC’s own tech-enabled solutions, consulting services, and best-in-class technology from our trusted solution partners. You’ll leverage your experience selling healthcare technology and strategic solutions to build relationships, solve challenges, maintain a strong sales pipeline, and drive growth through targeted prospecting and solution-based selling. This position reports to the CEO.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the home health and hospice space.
Curate, build, and maintain a consistent sales pipeline that supports company sales goals, ensuring the pipeline is continually replenished as opportunities are closed, won, lost, or moved through the sales cycle.
Engage prospective clients to understand their technology and operational needs and present tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals, statements of work, and presentations.
Promote Maxwell TEC’s technology offerings, consulting services, and partner solutions to prospective clients.
Utilize cold calling, networking, and targeted outreach to introduce Maxwell TEC and secure appointments with potential clients.
Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and actively manage pipeline activity, deal stages, follow-up actions, and forecasting to support sales goals and visibility for leadership.
Attend industry conferences and networking events to build relationships and generate leads.
Stay current on industry trends, technology developments, and regulatory changes impacting clients.
Provide market insights to help shape sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate closely with leadership, internal teams, and sales team members to share insights, coordinate prospecting efforts, and support overall sales strategy.
Monitor pipeline health, sales activity, and progress toward goals, providing regular updates and recommendations to leadership.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Some travel is required.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.

Ability to frequently sit, talk or hear, use hands, grasp, handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, walk; lift push or pull objects up to 15 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management roles.
2+ years of experience selling healthcare technology solutions and/or consulting services.
Proven ability to sell complex solutions to executive-level stakeholders.
Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, with a focus on post-acute, home health, or hospice providers.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

PREFERRED

Experience selling into home health, hospice, or care-at-home organizations.
Prior experience with healthcare consulting or solution-based selling.
Highly motivated, with a passion for healthcare technology and improving care delivery.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Exempt Status: Exempt
Compensation: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00/year, plus commission
