Job Summary
The Maintenance Plant Electrician will be responsible for overseeing the installation and repair of all electrical for any plant equipment. The Electrician must have advanced knowledge in reading schematics, maintaining, troubleshooting, and interpreting electrical and mechanical situations to determine process needed. The electrician will be responsible for recording documentation for complex projects and training and guidance to other maintenance technicians.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree required.
· 3 - 5 years of experience in Electrical, Robotics, Automation.
· PM system and parts tracking (Preferred)
· Maintenance in manufacturing facility: 5 years (Preferred)
· Food Manufacturing facility experience: 3 years (Preferred / not required)
- Technical skills in mechanical and electrical fields (e.g. PLCs, instrumentation, NFPA 70E, etc.).
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance in assigned area of operation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
· Promotes safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
· Complete all evaluations, and training set by Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform predictive & preventative maintenance on Plant Electrical services.
- Responsible for the day to day management of assigned equipment and documentation associated with their area of operation. (Prevention and Predictive Maintenance, Safety, etc.).
- Ensures maintenance is performed in a timely manner and works closely with Production to schedule and accomplish equipment and facility repairs.
· Examine and test devices in operation for trouble allocation.
- Complete all assigned yearly Training (Safety, Food Safety, Personnel)
General knowledge of all regulatory policies.

Work Environment
· This position requires working on the production floor in a cold environment with an average temperature of 40°F. The employee will be exposed to moderate noise levels, fast-paced operations, moving machinery, wet and dry areas, and must always wear personal protective equipment (PPE). The role requires interaction with employees, contractors, and supervisors in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

· The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, often over eight hours per shift. The employee must be able to use hands, fingers, arms, and reach as part of daily tasks. The position involves lifting and moving up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include the ability to see up close, at a distance, and to adjust focus. Repetitive movement, bending, twisting, and climbing may be required.
