GardaWorld Security Services is Now Hiring an Armed Tactical Security Officer!

Ready to suit up as an Armed Tactical Security Guard?

Must have active Act 235 Certification

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Tell us about how your keen sense of observation is one of your greatest strengths.

As an Armed Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling a hospital environment.

Set schedule: Evenings and Overnights, Weekends Required

Responsibilities of an Armed Tactical Security Guard

Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
Verify identities and control access to secure areas
React quickly to threats or incidents
Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
Document incidents and actions taken
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications of an Armed Tactical Security Guard

Be authorized to work in the U.S.
You are 21 years old or older
Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
You have an ACT 235 Lethal Weapons Training Certification
Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
Provide personally owned duty weapon (9mm caliber handgun)
Complete certification to carry an approved less-lethal alternative (OCAT-Path Certification - OC Spray)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
First aid/CPR certification and IAHSS Basic Course, is an asset
