We are currently on the lookout for passionate and vibrant HOSTESS to run the floor at Necessary Purveyor, located in the Ponce City Market Campus at Scout Living. WE DO HAVE OTHER POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN THE FRONT OF HOUSE ALSO.
ABOUT YOU:
You have a passion for food and beverage and possess a minimum of 1 years of relevant experience.
A post-secondary diploma or degree is a plus.
Hotel Operational experience is a plus.
You excel in both verbal and written communication.
You are adaptable and willing to meet the demands of a full-time operation.

Necessary Purveyor was established in Miami, FL, in 2018. Initially starting as a well-known sandwich shop in our city, we are now evolving into a full-scale restaurant and market. Our Atlanta operation plans to accommodate 400 Hotel Rooms, 3 meal segments, and a market style concept approach. The people we work with are the most vital part of our daily operations. As a HOSTESS / BRAND AMBASSADOR at our restaurant, you will be an essential part of the dining experience, ensuring that guests receive their beverages and food with the highest level of service and attention to detail. Your role includes a variety of responsibilities designed to support the smooth operation of the restaurant, from maintaining cleanliness and organization to assisting with guest services.
Graciously welcome all guests to our restaurant, seat and organize table arrangements for service, maintain menus, and deliver the upmost hospitality around the clock. Assist in the maintenance of the outlet area and equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.
- Greet guests and manage the flow of service with warmth and professionalism
- Ensure smooth guest flow and coordinate with service teams
- Handle administrative tasks with attention to detail
- Maintain a welcoming and organized front-of-house area
- Communicate clearly with guests, staff, and management
- Respond with empathy and efficiency to guest inquiries or concerns
- Knowledge with Resy booking system
