Full Job Description

Currently our client a Japanese High-end Entertainment company is seeking a Restaurant General Manager.

The GMis the steward of the restaurant standard at every unit. You are responsible for the totality of the guest experience, the performance of every team member, and the financial and operational integrity of your location. You lead by example on the floor, in feedback, and in culture.

【Compensation】$112-128K base
【Hiring Style】Direct hiring, Full-time

Responsibilities:

・Own the entire guest experience and lead daily pre-shift briefings.
・Monitor labor, COGS, and revenue targets, reporting weekly to the COO.
・Partner with culinary leadership to oversee inventory, ordering, and vendors.
・Ensure full adherence to California labor laws, food safety, and ABC licensing.
・Hire, train, and conduct monthly KPI reviews for unit staff.
・Manage personnel actions and progressive discipline per policy and California law.
・Build a workplace culture rooted in Omotenashi, Kando, Wa, and Kaizen.
・Personally connect with tables and decisively resolve all guest issues.

Qualifications:

・Minimum 5 years progressive hospitality leadership experience; 2+ years as GM of a fine dining or luxury
concept.
・Demonstrated P&L management and labor cost control.
・Exceptional written and verbal communication in English; Japanese language a plus.
・Proficiency in POS systems, scheduling platforms, and reservation management tools.
・Deep knowledge of Japanese culinary culture and luxury hospitality standards.

Pay: $112,000.00 - $128,000.00 per year
