About Your New Position:

You will work with various systems engineering tasks and projects through network architecture definition, development, analysis, modeling, & simulation and prototype development/validation.

You will work with the team through specialized technical studies and internal research and development (R&D) projects to develop the next generation of Space and Ground network concepts, architectures, and technologies. All while contributing to the areas of requirements maturation, schedules, verification, validation and test, mission data definition, team leadership, architecture analysis, and CONOPs.

Qualifications and Skills

How You Will Impact T2S:

Assist in the network integration with other Vendors in the testing and implementation of network technologies in Forward Prototype Platforms.
Maintain and control computer networks and related computing environments, as well as software, hardware, and configurations.
Monitor overall network performance to decide if changes need to be made.
Travel to exercises, meetings, and conference sites as necessary to perform said duties assigned.
Perform disaster recovery operations and record backups when required.
Support the department Lead engineer in the management of day-to-day activities, such as administration, maintenance, and logistics involving Forward prototype platforms.
Identify, define, analyze and coordinate customers/units needs and constraints and translate them into technical requirements and custom application designs.
Utilize and recommend tools, architectures, technologies, and methodologies that will support and optimize robust, scalable enterprise solutions related to network use with emphasis on the Sensor to Shooter Forward Prototype (S2SFP).
Document and review engineered diagrams of network technologies implemented.
Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with local and remote networking solutions.
Evaluate existing systems architecture and technologies and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
Mentor Junior Engineers effectively.
Perform other duties as assigned by the program leadership.

What You Bring to the Table (Required Qualifications):

Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.
At least 10 years of experience in related fields.
A history of working with Military Intelligence Systems. (U.S. Army Preferred).
Experience with effective use of network systems and their implementations.
Experience on cisco networking platforms with an emphasis in systems engineering design and development.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with teams developing rigorous analytic solutions to detailed-level issues.
Experience with open source network software solutions.
Have a current CCNA Certification
