We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The position will operate and maintain our Water Jet Portioning System, smart slicer, roll stock machine, and all other equipment. Must have industrial mechanical background, PLC, HMI, computer skills. Able to evaluate and adjust parameters. Able to learn and adapt quickly.
Summary: Assists operations with equipment daily. Performs routine repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of other processing equipment as needed while meeting safety requirements in completing tasks and complying with policies and/or regulations. Computer skills are required. Machine operation is required. Mechanical skills are required.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Setup, breakdown, adjust operations, and maintain all equipment (daily)
Perform all operator tasks with operations as well as mechanical tasks (daily)
Mechanical repair of all equipment as needed (daily)
Preventative Maintenance of all equipment (daily, weekly, monthly)
Thorough and detailed documentation of all operational information, repair information, and preventative maintenance. Create PM schedule with EOM. Develop maintenance schedule.
Ability to learn computer control systems. Operate an HMI, work with tech support over phone/internet. Work with service technician on all visits. Install new updates with tech support. Create all recipes and programs in HMI and adjust as needed for daily operations.
Daily monitoring and maintain all settings and the skills to determine the steps needed to troubleshoot issues that arise. Maximize yields, efficiency, and line output. Decrease line downtime.
Ability to work throughout the processing area. Assist others as needed.
Ability to follow through with instructions regarding operations, food safety, food quality, repair, and preventative maintenance.
Push, pull, and lift 50+ pounds throughout the day.
All duties are performed in a safe manner with company safety guidelines.
Any and all tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications/ Experience:
Food manufacturing experience. Machine operation experience. Industrial experience.
Computer skills, PLC, minor program adjustments required.
Reliable Team-Player with schedule flexibility, as well as the ability to work on weekends and extended hours as needed.
Eligible to work in the USA.
Skills related to manufacturing maintenance: mechanical repair.
Able to learn quickly.
Works well with a team and works well alone.
Education/Licenses/ Certifications:
· Food manufacturing required
· Roll Stock machine experience preferred
· Vacuum sealing experience preferred
· Vacuum pump experience preferred
· LOTO experience preferred.
· Food Safety experience preferred.
· Haccp experience preferred.
· Technical training preferred.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
