Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sleep Lab Manager to oversee the operations of our laboratory facility. The ideal candidate must be a RPSGT and possess a strong background in respiratory therapy and sleep medicine, with a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and anatomy. This role is essential for ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic evaluation and patient care within our sleep center.

Responsibilities

Manage daily Sleep laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Supervise Sleep laboratory staff, providing training and support to enhance team performance.
Conduct physical examinations and assess vital signs of patients as needed.
Oversee diagnostic evaluations and ensure accurate reporting of results.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and sleep medicine practices.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
Implement quality control measures to improve laboratory processes and outcomes.
Marketing for the Sleep lab

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in a Sleep laboratory setting.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills for interaction with staff, patients, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to perform physical examinations and assess vital signs accurately.
Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques related to sleep disorders is a plus.
Certification in relevant medical or laboratory fields is highly desirable.
