We are looking for a motivated Assistant Manager to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys selling vehicles while helping lead the day-to-day operations of the dealership. In addition to leadership responsibilities, the Assistant Manager will maintain an active sales role, building customer relationships, closing deals, and leading by example on the showroom floor.
Duties
- Actively sell vehicles while providing an exceptional customer experience from greeting through delivery.
- Help coach, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and dealership goals.
- Support the sales and finance process to ensure smooth and efficient transactions.
- Assist with evaluating trade-in vehicles and determining fair market values.
- Work with management to maintain competitive pricing based on market trends.
- Lead by example through professionalism, product knowledge, and outstanding customer service.
- Help resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure dealership policies and all legal and regulatory requirements are followed.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the values of the Lee Johnson Auto Family.
Requirements
- Previous experience in automotive sales is required; leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to build relationships and consistently close vehicle sales.
- Strong understanding of automotive financing, trade evaluations, and the sales process.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to coach and support others while remaining an active member of the sales team.
- Professional phone etiquette and strong computer skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of these screenings.
Pay: $5,000.00 - $9,000.00 per month
