Full Job Description

Quality Assurance:
Conduct regular audits of coded data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Identify and address coding errors, discrepancies, and patterns requiring further investigation or clarification.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and clinical staff to resolve documentation and coding discrepancies.
Provide feedback and education to healthcare providers and clinical staff on coding-related documentation requirements and best practices.
Stay informed about updates and changes to coding guidelines, regulations, and industry standards.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and reimbursement policies, such as HIPAA, CMS, and third-party payer requirements.

Job Summary

As a Medical Coder at LexiCode, you will join a dynamic team of coding experts dedicated to delivering exceptional coding services to our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be accurately assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to medical records, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
