Responsibilities
- Actively engage with customers in retail settings, providing knowledgeable guidance on products and services to meet their needs.
- Conduct outside sales efforts by reaching out to prospective clients, scheduling appointments, and presenting compelling solutions.
- Negotiate terms effectively to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing orders, updating customer records, and tracking sales activities.
- Utilize analysis skills to identify sales opportunities, interpret market trends, and develop strategies for growth.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively across multiple channels, including telemarketing calls, face-to-face interactions, and digital correspondence.
- Maintain a strong understanding of insurance products such as health insurance, property casualty insurance, commercial insurance, and benefits administration to better serve clients’ needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is highly valued.
- Knowledge of insurance regulation, HIPAA compliance (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and insurance sales processes.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies and customer service principles to enhance client engagement.
- Analysis skills to interpret data, assess client needs, and tailor solutions effectively.
- Ability to handle telemarketing activities professionally while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Prior experience or knowledge in health insurance, property casualty insurance, or benefits administration is a plus.
