Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling duties including cashiering, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Follow all food safety management procedures to ensure high-quality food preparation and handling practices
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Background in food preparation, food handling, or culinary roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Experience in retail sales transactions, cashiering, or grocery store operations demonstrates valuable math and customer service skills
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations ensures compliance with health standards
- Prior café or restaurant experience is a plus for understanding fast-paced food service dynamics
