Full Job Description

MD West ONEoffers the most comprehensive head-to-toe musculoskeletal and nervous system practice in the region. Our depth in orthopedic, neurosurgery, spine and pain specialized care allows our patients to be seen under ONE versatile, collaborative entity.

We are looking for a Radiology Technologist to perform x-ray images within our orthopedic clinic in Elkhorn, with flexibility to travel to multiple clinic locations, as needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment and is comfortable juggling multiple tasks. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist patients entering the X-ray rooms; monitor the conditions of patients and assist radiologists, physicians, and/or nurses in performing needed medical attention.
Demonstrate skills and knowledge to identify abnormalities and physiological processes while performing the x-rays, with initiative to obtain additional views or extremely technical factors, if needed.
Maintain and clean X-ray equipment and room as assigned.
Deliver the highest quality service in a non-judgmental and non-discriminating manner; be sensitive to patient and co-worker needs.
Contribute to the team-oriented environment by demonstrating cooperative, constructive, problem-solving interaction with co-workers.
Communicate with patients, doctors, nurses, and other employees regarding scheduling and concerns needing to be addressed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Current ARRT and Nebraska licenses.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to lift up to 40lbs frequently; stand, walk, and stoop for extended periods of time.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Medical clinic office setting. Will be a clean, well-lit area. May deal with unpleasant environmental situations resulting from patient care or patient activity.
Job may require contact with clinic staff, adjacent hospital staff, and/or patients; potential exposure to communicable and/or infectious diseases.
