Full Job Description

The Master (MA) Level Evaluator is the lead clinician in the facilitation and assessment of a client’s behavioral health services. The MA Level Evaluator, in collaboration with all treatment team members, prescribes medically necessary behavioral health services to meet the individual needs of the identified child. This includes the completion of a Written Order and psychological evaluation. As part of this assessment process, the MA Level Evaluator is an active participant in the interagency process and is instrumental in identifying the appropriateness and effectiveness of service delivery. Evaluations are for the initial request and/or ongoing request for IBHS services. The evaluation should be comprehensive in nature, including relevant clinical information, quantitative data and provide diagnostic clarity and informed treatment recommendations.

Essential Duties:

· Perform written orders, psychological evaluations, addendums, and memos necessary to assess and determine the medical necessity of behavioral health services.

· Perform case management duties as required to ensure continuity of care.

· Coordinate with the Clinical Director regarding any issues or concerns and all administrative details/issues.

· Complete evaluations within the identified time frame of 10 business days to ensure continuity of service, quality of care, and full reimbursement.

· Ensure that evaluations and addendums meet the guidelines established by the regulating bodies that PMHC/DVCC is contracted with.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Be licensed as a MA level in psychology, marriage and family therapist, professional counselor, social worker with clinical experience.

· Experience working with children.

· Act 33 clearance

· FBI, PA Criminal and Child Abuse Clearances

Clearances:

· PA Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance

· PA Act 34 Pennsylvania State Criminal Clearance

· PA Act 114 FBI Fingerprint Clearance

· Others required by the Philadelphia Mental Health Center

Trainings (paid for by IC):

· PA Act 31 Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting.

· Any additional education or training requirements stipulated by the Department of Public Welfare with Medical Assistance Bulletins.

· Participation in all mandatory and ongoing trainings.

· Tele Health trainings- Provided by PMHC (no cost)
