Full Job Description

Insurance Coordinator

Hours: (M-TH) 7am-4pm and (F) 7am-2pm

Location: Onsite in Greenwood, IN

Rate: $22.00/hour

Mid America Health is growing! We are seeking a full-time Insurance Coordinator to add to our team! Strong customer/patient service skills, ability to multitask, proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are a must to be successful in this position!

This position will work with our School Smiles Division and will primarily be responsible for:

Verification of private dental insurances and Medicaid dental benefits.
Communication with parents to retrieve additional details needed for dental insurance.
Managing accounts receivable including appeals.
Liaison between our patients and clients as well our portable dental teams in the field.

Insurance Coordinator Job Requirements:

Insurance verification experience (dental insurance preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Insurance Coordinator ideal candidate will possess skills in:

Front Office dental experience
Knowledge of dental terminology and billing codes
Prior experience with dental practice management software
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Research and problem solving
Time management
Effective communication
Flexibility as operational priorities change
Ability to work autonomously and in a group
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
