Precision Machinist – Surface Grinding

Pay & Benefits:

$20.00 – $25.00/hr (based on experience).

Overtime paid at 1.5× after 40 hours.

What You’ll Do:
-
Perform surface grinding setups (manual grinding, fixturing, blocks).
-
Execute precision machining of tool steel components.

Read blueprints and machine to tight tolerances.

Inspect parts to meet quality standards.

Work across machining and surface grinding operations.
What You Need:
-
Experience in machining (manual or CNC).
-
Hands-on surface grinding experience preferred.

Background in tool steel machining strongly preferred.

Blueprint reading skills.
-
Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
-
High school diploma or GED.
Preferred: Tool steel and Surface Grinding experience.
Schedule:
-
Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30/5:30 PM (Mon–Fri).

45–50 hours/week (OT Required).

Occasional Saturdays.
Location:
Just 15 minutes from Nashville with easy highway access, nearby restaurants, and housing options.
