Job Description: General Electrical Warehouse Worker

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for a variety of tasks in the warehouse, including receiving and storing materials, picking and packing orders, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- ALL tasks INSIDE, OUTSIDE, FRONT and BACK of Electrical warehouse range.
- Receiving and Inspection: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Report any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Manager.
- Storage and Organization:** Store materials and products in designated locations using appropriate methods, ensuring easy retrieval and optimal space utilization.
- Order Fulfillment:** Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications and company standards. Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods.
- Inventory Management:** Conduct regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels. Assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies and report shortages or surpluses.
- Material Handling:** Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure all equipment is maintained and used in compliance with safety regulations.
- Documentation:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory movements. Use warehouse management software to track and update data.
- Housekeeping:** Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards. Dispose of waste materials properly and follow all safety protocols.
- Team Collaboration:** Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff, delivery drivers, and office personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Provide support and assistance as needed.
**Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures is a plus.
- Skills:** Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.
- Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift, carry, and move items up to [weight] lbs. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and manual dexterity required.
- Licenses/Certifications:** Forklift certification is desirable but not required. Training will be provided if necessary.
- Other- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Work Environment:
- The work is performed in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
- Must adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
