Full Job Description

New Era Staffing is partnering with an established industrial plastics manufacturer to hire an Entry-Level Production Associate for their growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals who are reliable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn in a hands-on manufacturing environment. If you’re looking for long-term stability, on-the-job training, and the potential to grow your earnings, this could be the perfect fit.

JJob Title: Entry-Level Production Associate
Location: Tacoma, WA
Pay: $17.25/hr to start
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM OR 2PM - 10:30PM
Benefits Offered: Paid Weekly, Paid Training, Paid Sick Leave, Affordable Healthcare Plan, Simple IRA (401K)
Employment Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Do

Learn to set up machines and begin production cycles
Operate and adjust conventional manufacturing equipment including presses, routers, drill presses, and saws
Monitor production output and inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Read and interpret job orders and production specifications
Use measuring tools and gauges to ensure product conformity
Deburr and finish products as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times

Preferred Skills & Experience

Basic understanding of manufacturing or production processes (preferred)
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn equipment operation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Willingness to learn through hands-on training and mentorship

Work Environment

Industrial manufacturing setting
Standing, bending, and physical activity required throughout shift
Consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Rotating 12-hour schedule designed to provide structured days off
