Full Job Description

HoverTech International, an Etac and medical device company established in 1997 is seeking a Clinical Education Specialist to join their team in Allentown, PA.

In this role the Clinical Education Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., sales, senior management, marketing, etc.) to conceptualize, design, deliver, and manage clinical content that improves the knowledge and skills of the sales force as well as the customer base.

This position is ideal for a nurse who enjoys teaching, collaborating, and problem-solving, and is passionate about improving outcomes for both patients and caregivers. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse seeking a rewarding career transition from direct bedside care into a role that offers creativity, travel, collaboration, and the ability to influence healthcare innovation on a broader scale.

***Must be an RN with at least 2 years of critical care experience to be considered for this role.

Clinical Education Specialist Responsibilities:

Clinical

Develop and deliver clinical content for internal and external audiences
Lead and/or collaborate with colleagues to write and provide clinical guidance on content for various clinical and product materials
Collaborate with product development team for clinical input on products
Act as a clinical subject matter expert

Training

Provide in-field clinical sales support to reinforce training and drive customer engagement
Train and certify sales representatives on clinical & product concepts both in person and virtually
Develop and deliver clinical presentations/activities for sales support functions
Maintain and manage the internal learning management system (LMS), including course creation, content uploads, user assignments, reporting, and ongoing optimization
Participate in off-site training related events and meetings

Other

Manage and collaborate with a team of key opinion leaders (KOL’s)
Attend company, professional conferences, and/or tradeshows as required
Support current product advancement alongside engineering and marketing teams

Clinical Education Specialist Qualifications:

***Must be a Registered Nurse to be considered.

5 yrs. of nursing experience.
Must have 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
2 yrs. of clinical education, training or precepting experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be open to 40% domestic travel.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
