EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3 year’s minimum experience as a Technician
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- Aston Martin, Bentley, Lamborghini, Maserati or McLaren manufacture certifications a plus
- Extensive knowledge of computer controls, diagnosis of electrical and hydraulic problems, and other specialized skills needed to work on these systems
- Knowledge of ADP and other systems as required by the manufacturer
- ASE certification preferred
- OEM Factory Certification preferred
- Good organization skills
- Must have a valid unrestricted California Driver’s License
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Utilize appropriate diagnostic equipment to check vehicle performance and troubleshoot problems.
- Conduct test drives, as appropriate. Manual Transmission.
- Ensure all work is complete, including any routine services such as lubrication and inspections.
- Adhere to all dealership and manufacturer procedures and policies.
- Abide by all safety precautions and emergency procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of manufacturer-specific information and tools.
- Communicate findings and work status to the Service Advisor promptly.
- Work with fellow employees and contribute as a Team Player.
- Assure all repairs and services performed on vehicles are safe & problem free.
- Ensure the work area remains clean, uncluttered and safe.
- Complete all manufacturers’ technical training and certification as required.
- Other requirements include: Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment such as Scanners, electrical diagnostic equipment, AC recovery equipment, Fluid Exchange Equipment, Lift operation, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, WORK ENVIROMENTS, and WORK SCHEDULE:
Skill in operating office equipment such as a personal computer, copy machine and telephone system. Ability to perform routine bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. WORK LOCATION:
This position is headquartered in Walnut Creek CA. This position may require traveling to other office locations or off-site meetings as required.
