Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented On-Site Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic property management team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily operations at a residential community, ensuring exceptional resident experiences and maintaining property standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property management, customer service, and administrative functions, with a passion for fostering positive community environments. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience in real estate administration, leasing, and facilities management.

Responsibilities

Assist with leasing activities, including property tours, application processing, and lease signings, ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations
Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, resolving conflicts through effective negotiation and conflict management skills, and providing outstanding customer service.
Support property maintenance coordination by reporting issues, tracking work orders , and following up on resolution status.
Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, lease agreements, legal documents, and compliance paperwork
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to landlord-tenant law; assist in facilities management tasks as needed.
Assist with rent collection processes, upselling available amenities or services to residents to enhance occupancy rates and revenue.
Support administrative tasks such as phone etiquette, filing, data entry, and preparing reports for property management review.

Skills

Proficiency with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; experience with CMMS systems is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict professionally and effectively.
Demonstrated experience in property leasing, sales techniques, contract negotiation, and legal administrative procedures.
Office experience including data entry, filing systems, phone etiquette, and document management.
Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
