Full Job Description

Jr. Desk Compliance Manager
Paths is a full-scale, vertically integrated affordable housing developer, builder, and operator. Since 2004, the Paths team created and preserved high-quality affordable housing across the U.S. that enhances communities and helps residents build better lives. With over 15,000 units across 13 states under management and more than 500 employees, Paths manages a suite of capabilities spanning the entire property life-cycle, including: development, construction, property management, maintenance, and security.

Summary/Objective: The Jr. Desk Compliance Manager to manage a portfolio of Section 8 and LIHTC properties to ensure files are in compliance with federal, state and local agency requirements. This role will report to the Assistant Vice President of Compliance.

Classification: Non-Exempt; overtime eligible
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in office/2 work from home

Essential function/Responsibilities: duties include but are not limited to the following:

Reviewing and approving all recertification and move-in packages prepared by site managers/Recertification Specialists;
Working with the site management team and staff to ensure all recertifications and move-in files for Section 8, 236/Mitchell-Lama & LIHTC are completed timely and properly pursuant to agency guidelines;
Generating and processing HUD EIV reports for site managers
Assist with OCAF paperwork
Supports Desk Compliance Manager with preparation of all Agency and Investor reporting
Guides site managers on recertification corrections and questions
Assist with Special projects and reporting as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge of Section 8 and LIHTC compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and property management software such as Yardi or similar systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong organizational, communication, and written skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail

Pay Range: $26.00 - $29.00
