Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Collection and Accounting Specialist to join our busy Accounting team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing accounts receivable, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and supporting the organization’s compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Your expertise will help streamline collection processes and maintain precise financial data, contributing to the overall health of our financial operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of accounting software and financial concepts in a fast-paced legal environment committed to excellence.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts receivable processes by monitoring outstanding invoices, following up on overdue payments, and resolving billing discrepancies efficiently.
Process detailed account transactions in multi company/location environment
Utilize various accounting and legal software to record transactions accurately and efficiently.
Conduct data entry tasks with precision using 10-key typing and double-entry bookkeeping techniques to support payroll management and financial reporting.

Qualifications

Proven experience in legal accounting environments encouraged.
Proficiency in Quickbooks Online.
Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and experience with account reconciliation techniques.
Strong organizational skills combined with excellent math abilities for account analysis.
Ability to perform detailed data entry accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and support audit or compliance activities.
