Full Job Description

Overview
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen (CCDOM), with more than 450 employees is a non-profit, social services agency with its mission, driven by Catholic social teaching, of providing quality services with dignity and respect to the poor, vulnerable and all people in need and partnering with families and communities to improve the quality of life. We serve more than 68,000 clients per year throughout Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren counties in NJ.

Psychologist 063 - Phillipsburg, NJ

$1,200 per evaluation, Fee for Service

Responsibilities

Evaluation of caregivers involved with child protective services to determine their capacity and functional ability to safely care for minor children by clinical interviews, administration, scoring and interpretation of psychometrics.
Synthesize results to determine parenting strengths and risks with appropriate intervention recommendations.
At times, minor children/adolescents may be referred for evaluation.

Skills

Current NJ licensed psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
Valid driver’s license
Professional liability insurance with agency as “other insured”.
Must also complete NJ Department of Children and Families Psychologist Certification Form

Professionally Licensed (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)

Qualified Non-profit Agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
Offers FREE in-house CEU credits provided by Rutgers School of Social Work and Wellspring during work hours
Some positions also offer Clinical Supervision requirements for advanced professional licenses
