Job Summary:
QuietCool, a leader in innovative home cooling solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our growing team. This role will be part of a new division dedicated to installing QuietCool whole-house fans and training subcontractors to perform installations to our high standards. We’re looking for a skilled professional with at least 3+ years of electrical experience, a passion for quality work, and the ability to teach others. Key Responsibilities:
- Install QuietCool whole-house fans in residential properties, ensuring all work meets electrical codes and company standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues related to wiring, circuits, and fan integration.
- Train and mentor subcontractors on proper QuietCool fan installation techniques, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Conduct on-site demonstrations and provide hands-on guidance to ensure subcontractor competency.
- Inspect completed installations (both self-performed and subcontractor work) for quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with the QuietCool team to refine installation processes and improve training methods.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment at all job sites.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing client questions or concerns during installations.
Qualifications:
- This job requires travel occasionally
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and local building codes.
- Experience with residential electrical installations; familiarity with fan or HVAC systems is a plus.
- Ability to train and communicate effectively with others, including subcontractors with varying levels of experience.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and clean driving record.
- Comfortable working at heights, in attics, and in various weather conditions.
- Certification or licensing as an electrician (preferred, depending on state requirements).
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds, crawl through attics, climb up and down ladders, Stand, bend all day long.
