Recyclops seeks to cultivate sustainability throughout the country by offering convenient recycling solutions to as many communities as possible. Recyclops is looking for 1099 independent contractor drivers in Conejos County, CO to help us pick up our customer's recycling and drop off all recycling materials picked up at the recycling facility. (Specific cities serviced: La Jara, Sanford, and Manassa)
Recycling pick up route will run weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Start time is flexible but route must be completed by 5 pm local time. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
Route is approximately 3-4 hours.
Pay Structure:
Recyclops pays by the route. Route pays an average of $100-$250 per route. Final payment is determined on route factors each day.
Any vehicle type (Pickup Trucks, SUV, Vans or Sedans--larger capacity vehicles and/or owning a trailer would be a plus).
What you'll do:
- Drive your own vehicle around your community, pick up recycling, complete a pickup route and take recycling to storage unit. Routes time depends on the number of stops and size of the vehicle used.
- Routes have a flexible start time, but must be completed by 5:00 pm
- Keep in communication with an operations specialist via smartphone to take pictures of and report when customers miss their bag pickup
To be a Recyclops driver you will need:
- A valid drivers license (CDL not required),
- Pickup Trucks, SUVs, Vans or Sedans
- Proof of valid auto insurance
- Smartphone
