Full Job Description

Remote Neurologist – TBI / Concussion Evaluations
100% Remote | California License Required | $350/hour | Part-Time Pilot

We are seeking a California-licensed board-certified neurologist to perform fully remote evaluations for patients with suspected traumatic brain injury, concussion, post-concussive symptoms, headaches, and related neurologic complaints.

Patients will already have undergone basic screening using concussion/TBI symptom tools and structured questions, such as the modified Rivermead Post-Concussion Symptoms Questionnaire, SCAT6, and Post-Concussion Symptom Scale. Qualified patients will then have a neuro-specific history prepared prior to your evaluation.

This is a fully remote position. Most evaluations are performed by audio means such as Doximity Dialer or a similar platform. Visits are scheduled approximately every 15 minutes. Many patients have mild or transient symptoms and limited past medical history given their age

Responsibilities:

Perform remote neurologic evaluations for suspected TBI/concussion patients
Review structured screening information and neuro-specific history
Assess symptoms including headaches, dizziness, cognitive complaints, sleep disturbance, mood changes, and post-concussive complaints
Complete a clear, timely neurology-focused clinical note
Finish all notes by the end of the day
Recommend appropriate neurologic workup, treatment, imaging, referrals, or follow-up when clinically indicated
No call
No calling in prior auths
No inbox

This position does not require you to prescribe opioids, benzodiazepines, disability, or parking placards.

Requirements:

Active and clean California medical license
Neurology board certification
Experience evaluating TBI, concussion, headache, and post-concussive symptoms
Ability to connect with patients remotely by audio or telehealth platform
Reliable, professional, and able to complete documentation the same day
Comfortable with efficient 15-minute evaluations

Preferred:

Spanish-speaking
Availability after hours or on weekend

Schedule and Compensation:

$350 per hour
100% fully remote
Hours expected to increase as referral volume and patient panel grow
Flexible scheduling available, especially for evening or weekend availability
Paid monthly via 1099 w/o benefits

Pay: $350.00 per hour
