POSITION SUMMARY

The Franchise Business Consultant (FBC) is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the performance and operational success of a designated region of Bonchon restaurants. Reporting to the Senior Director of Learning & Development and Operations Services, this role ensures that franchisees and restaurant teams receive the guidance and resources necessary to meet Bonchon’s operational standards and business objectives.

While the FBC will focus on strategic oversight and performance analysis, field visits and direct support to restaurants will be managed by the Director of Training and Operations and the Field Support Coaches. This role will collaborate closely with these leaders to ensure that regional needs are effectively addressed and corporate initiatives are implemented successfully.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-oriented, data-driven leader with experience in multi-unit restaurant management and franchise operations.

THE ROLE

Regional Performance Oversight

Monitor and analyze the performance of restaurants within the assigned region, focusing on key metrics such as sales, guest satisfaction, labor, and food costs.
Partner with franchisees to review business performance and develop strategic plans to address gaps and drive improvement.
Ensure that restaurants within the region meet or exceed Bonchon’s operational standards and brand expectations.

Franchise Partner Support

Serve as the primary point of contact for franchisees within the region, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their success.
Communicate Bonchon’s corporate strategies, business priorities, and operational updates to franchise partners.
Collaborate with the Director of Training and Operations to address franchisee concerns and ensure timely support through Field Support Coaches.

Collaboration with Field Support Teams

Liaise with the Director of Training and Operations to ensure Field Support Coaches are effectively supporting restaurants in operational excellence and brand consistency.
Provide strategic direction and performance insights to guide the activities of the field team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and regional needs.
Work with field support teams to implement new initiatives, training programs, and operational improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with the Senior Director of Learning & Development and Operations Services to align regional efforts with Bonchon’s overall strategic objectives.
Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, IT, and other corporate departments to support regional initiatives and new program rollouts.
Act as a conduit for field and franchisee feedback, sharing insights with corporate teams to refine programs and tools.
Serve as operational liaison for New Restaurant Opening needs, including guiding location on staffing, equipment SME, smallwares and menu pricing.

Performance Measurement and Strategy

Define regional goals and KPIs in collaboration with corporate leadership.
Regularly review data to assess regional performance, identify trends, and develop action plans for improvement.
Leverage insights from performance metrics to influence corporate strategy and resource allocation.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management experience, preferably in the quick-service or fast-casual segment.
Demonstrated success in supporting franchise partners and managing performance at a regional level.
Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with franchisees, corporate teams, and field leaders.
