About Rise48 Equity
Rise48 Equity is a fast-growing multifamily private equity firm that owns and operates nearly 12,000 apartment units across Phoenix, Dallas–Fort Worth, and the Carolinas. We are building an in-house legal-operations team to manage tenant and eviction matters with speed, consistency, and care — and you can be part of building it from the ground floor.
The role
As our Lead Eviction Specialist, you'll be the most experienced hands-on filer on the team — handling Arizona's highest-volume, most complex routine matters, mentoring coordinators, and helping the Director refine the playbook. If you know Arizona Justice Court eviction work cold and want ownership and growth, this is for you. The role is based on-site at our North Scottsdale office.
This is an in-office role. You'll work on-site at our North Scottsdale, AZ office, 40 hours per week. This position is not remote and does not offer work-from-home arrangements. While this is a full-time, in-office position (not remote), the role also requires regular local travel: you will visit Justice Courts and Rise48 properties throughout the Phoenix metro during the day and at different times throughout the month.
What you'll do
- Prepare and file notices and special-detainer (eviction) actions in Arizona Justice Courts; appear as Rise48's authorized representative on routine matters.
- Manage the docket: deadlines, hearings, writs, and post-judgment steps with constables.
- Serve as the quality check for the Arizona coordinator and as a model for SOP adherence.
- Coordinate with outside counsel on any contested or appealed matters.
- Maintain meticulous records and resident ledgers in the case-management system.
- Travel frequently throughout the Phoenix metro — to Justice Courts and to Rise48 properties — for filings, hearings, service of process, postings, and related activities, at varying times of day and on varying days throughout the month.
- Apply for and pass the exam to become a Certified Arizona Private Process Server — this certification is a required condition of the role, and Rise48 pays all application, exam, fingerprinting, and continuing-education costs.
What you bring
- 4+ years in eviction/landlord-tenant, paralegal, legal-assistant, or property-management collections work.
- Hands-on Arizona Justice Court eviction experience; confident appearing as an authorized agent.
- Exceptional attention to detail and deadline discipline.
- Professional, calm, and respectful in high-volume, sometimes emotional situations.
Bonus points
- Paralegal certificate.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Experience with multifamily property-management software (e.g., Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio).
Compensation & benefits
$62,000–$78,000 base + performance bonus. Plus performance bonus, full medical / dental / vision, 401(k), paid time off, and the opportunity to help launch a brand-new function inside a high-growth real estate company. This role also includes a monthly gas stipend to support the frequent local travel, and Rise48 covers the full cost of obtaining and maintaining your Arizona Certified Private Process Server credential (application, exam, fingerprinting, and continuing education).
How this role works legally: You'll file and appear on routine Arizona evictions as Rise48's authorized non-attorney representative in Justice Court — permitted under Arizona's eviction procedure. You will not provide legal advice or handle contested hearings/appeals, which are referred to licensed counsel. No law license required.
Pay: $62,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
