Full Job Description

Rx Healthcare is a growing organization that serves the Greater Sacramento area and multiple surrounding counties. If you are interested in making a strong community impact, you will enjoy working for our organization!

Rx Healthcare is looking for a passionate and flexible home health aide to cover the Greater Folsom/ El Dorado Hills Region. The HHA would work collaborative and under the directions of a RN, PT, or OT.

Certified Home Health Aide responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

· Demonstrate ability read, write, and follow directions.

· Demonstrate ability to work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff.

· Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and cheerful attitude.

· Follow the instructions of the professional nurse/therapist in providing care.

· Provide patients with hygiene assistance such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.

· Perform and record accurate measurements (i.e. vital signs, or intake/output as instructed in the care plans).

· Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.

· Report patient complaints to the RN/PT/OT.

· Maintain patient confidentiality/adheres to HIPAA requirements and agency policy and procedures manual.

· Possess the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
