SAP Consultant (SAP IBP) – Supply Chain Planning

Overview
We are seeking an SAP Consultant with expertise in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) to support and enhance our Supply Chain Planning applications. In this role, you will work as part of a cross-functional product team to design, build, configure, and support SAP IBP solutions that drive business performance and enable digital transformation.
You will play a key role in delivering scalable, resilient, and integrated solutions, contributing to both application development and ongoing optimization of supply chain planning capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP IBP Development & Configuration
- Design, configure, and maintain SAP IBP solutions to meet business requirements.
- Support enhancements, integrations, and defect resolution across IBP modules.
- Application Development & Deployment
- Perform technical design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP IBP configurations and integrations.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, stable, and aligned with architecture standards.
- Integration & Data Management
- Configure and support integrations between SAP IBP and upstream/downstream systems.
- Work with IBP data models, planning areas, key figures, and data flows.
- Application Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide ongoing support for SAP IBP, resolving moderately complex issues independently.
- Partner with support teams to address production issues and ensure system stability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and functional analysts to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure alignment across teams for system enhancements and integrations.
- User Support & Communication
- Act as a point of contact for end users, addressing support requests and providing technical guidance.
- Documentation & Best Practices
- Maintain clear documentation of configurations, integrations, and system processes.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
- Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on SAP IBP capabilities and recommend enhancements leveraging new features and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3+ years of relevant experience in SAP development or application support
- Hands-on experience working with SAP IBP or similar SAP planning solutions
- Experience with application configuration, testing, and deployment
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex technical issues independently
- Strong communication skills with experience working across technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience with SAP IBP architecture, data models, and integration technologies
- Experience supporting or implementing IBP in complex enterprise environments
- Exposure to key IBP modules, such as:
- Demand Planning
- Response & Supply Planning
- Inventory Optimization
- Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Experience integrating IBP with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, or other enterprise systems
- Familiarity with modern development and integration practices within SAP ecosystems

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
