Scelzi Enterprises, Inc. is hiring for our Tacoma, Washington location and is looking for an energetic person for our Washbay department. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Responsibilities include detailing, washing, scaling, inspecting, and moving trucks around the yard.
Essential Functions/Position purpose Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- 1. Parks completed units in assigned areas for will call/transportation.
- 2. Store keys and mark keys with key tags.
- 3. Detailing, washing, and inspecting completed units.
- 4. Obtain documentation and paperwork needed from accounting.
- 5. Use of Microsoft Outlook email for internal communications.
Competencies/Qualifications
- - Experience in detailing is ideal for the position.
- - Candidate must have valid driver’s license and be insurable
- - Ability to work alone and use problem-solving and decision-making skills
- - Ability to read Work Orders and VIN numbers to verify units
- - Communication skills
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a shop production environment. Includes exposure to sounds and noise level that are distracting or uncomfortable. Requires working in a very hot (above 90 degrees F) or very cold (below 32 degrees F) temperature. Requires working indoors in non-controlled environmental conditions. Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people. Requires exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings. Requires exposure to hazardous equipment.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50 lbs periodically. Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Requires standing for long periods of time, frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, constantly twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching to complete essential functions listed above
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. Occasional Saturdays and overtime can be required. If overtime and/or Saturdays are requested, it will be mandatory
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma.
Preferred Education and Experience
1. Previous production experience.
