The Mark Ficken Collision Center, a fast-growing body shop serving Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas, is seeking an Estimator to join our winning team. $2,500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!

This position offers virtually unlimited growth and a very competitive salary. THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION.

SENIOR COLLISION ESTIMATOR / DAMAGE APPRAISER

EXPERIENCED COLLISION ESTIMATORS — WE WANT TO TALK TO YOU.

Mark Ficken Ford Lincoln Collision Center is looking for an experienced, high-performing Collision Estimator to join our growing Charlotte team.

This is NOT an entry-level estimating position.

We are specifically looking for a candidate with extensive experience in collision estimating/estimatics, damage analysis, blueprinting, insurance claims, supplements, and modern vehicle repair procedures. This is a back-end position that requires little to no customer interaction.

If you know how to properly identify damage, research OEM repair procedures, build a complete repair plan and maximize a legitimate repair from the initial estimate through final billing, we want to talk to you.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate will have:

Extensive collision estimating / estimatics experience
Strong working knowledge of CCC ONE or comparable estimating platforms
Thorough understanding of collision repair procedures and vehicle construction
Strong knowledge of OEM repair procedures and manufacturer requirements
Experience with complete vehicle blueprinting and damage analysis
Ability to identify and document non-included operations
Experience writing and negotiating supplements
Strong understanding of insurance claims and DRP procedures
Ability to review repair plans for accuracy, completeness and profitability
Experience working directly with insurance adjusters
Understanding of scanning, calibrations, ADAS requirements and manufacturer-required inspections
Strong documentation and file-management skills
Excellent communication and customer-service abilities
Ability to manage multiple repairs and priorities in a fast-paced production environment

ASE and I-CAR certifications are preferred but not required for the right experienced candidate.

THIS POSITION IS FOR AN ESTIMATOR WHO KNOWS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WRITING AN ESTIMATE AND BUILDING A COMPLETE REPAIR PLAN.

Our expectations go beyond simply entering visible damage into an estimating system.

Our estimators are expected to identify the complete scope of the repair, research required procedures, document the repair correctly and work closely with technicians, insurance carriers and customers to move vehicles efficiently through production.

Attention to detail matters. Documentation matters. Repair-plan accuracy matters.
