ShipOffers is a fast-growing fulfillment and logistics operation focused on delivering a seamless experience for our clients and their customers. Our OpLogs team sits at the intersection of technology, data, and operations and we move fast. We are looking for sharp, detail-oriented people who take ownership of their work and care about getting things right.
The Quality Assurance Engineer is a technical, hands-on role responsible for validating that orders, shipments, integrations, and automated processes are working exactly as they should, before clients notice they aren't. This role owns daily system checks, SQL-based investigations, postback validation, store error monitoring, and returns reporting. You will work directly with the operations and integrations teams to catch issues early and keep the platform running cleanly.
This is not a passive QA role. You will be running queries, investigating discrepancies, managing postback validations, and maintaining SOPs. Strong SQL skills and a proactive mindset are essential.
-
Run daily SQL queries to identify orders shipped in Warehance with no corresponding shipment record in the database
-
Investigate discrepancies between Warehance shipment data and the API order state — tracking numbers, ship dates, status mismatches
-
Ensure orders are flowing correctly endtoend and flag anything stuck before it becomes a client issue
SKU & Store Error Monitoring
-
Review the SKU error sheet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday — investigate highlighted rows, add investigation notes, and resolve or escalate
-
Identify stores with incorrect SKU mappings and work with the team to correct them
-
Maintain clean records of all investigated errors
-
Run daily queries to identify CartPanda stores returning 401 errors — update access tokens when they occur
-
Validate CartPanda postbacks are firing correctly and sending accurate data
-
Follow and maintain the CartPanda Postback Validation SOP
-
Generate and distribute returns reports every Friday at 3:00 PM or later — data entry continues until 3 PM and reports must reflect complete data
-
Follow the returns reporting SOP and ensure accuracy before distribution
-
Validate new stores through the established New Store Validation SOP before they go live
-
Confirm SKU mapping, order routing, and integration connections are correct
-
Document and communicate any issues found during validation
-
Manage and validate ClickBank postbacks — ensure they are firing and sending correct data
-
Maintain the CB Postbacks SOP and follow it consistently
-
Maintain and update SOPs for all core QA functions
-
Document daily activities and keep records that don't disappear — this role owns the institutional knowledge
-
of how our validation processes work
-
Proficiency in SQL — specifically PostgreSQL. You will write and run queries daily.
-
Strong analytical skills — you need to look at data and know when something is wrong
-
High attention to detail — this role catches problems before they reach clients
-
Ability to follow and maintain SOPs with consistency and accuracy
-
Comfortable working independently and owning a daily routine without prompting
-
Strong written communication — notes, investigation logs, and error documentation need to be clear
-
Experience with ecommerce fulfillment, logistics, or order management systems
-
Familiarity with Warehance, CartPanda, ClickBank, or similar platforms
-
Experience with APIbased integrations and understanding of postback/webhook concepts
-
Experience with Google Sheets and collaborative documentation tools
-
Prior experience in a QA, data analyst, or operations analyst role
-
Issues are caught internally — not by clients
-
Daily checks are completed consistently and on time without being asked
-
SOPs are followed, maintained, and improved over time
-
The team has full confidence that order flow, postbacks, and store connections are being watched
-
You bring problems to the team's attention early, with clear context and documentation
