If you have the proven ability to close a sale, work with various customer types, and can combine that with adhering to all store policies then this may be the position for you. The Store Sales Manager position at Mattress Depot USA is a financially rewarding and satisfying career. Even if you have never sold furniture or mattresses you can be successful. With many years of experience, proven sales methods, ongoing training and support, and being one of the leading mattress retailers in the Pacific Northwest, we make it easy for you to sell and succeed right away. We operate in the U.S. mattress retail market, in which net sales amounted to approximately $12 billion in 2012. It has grown 18 out of the last 20 years and is expected to demonstrate strong fundamentals.

What you need to be successful:

Minimum 3 years sales experience

Motivated by a pay for performance compensation plan

Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

Reliable and self driven with a passion to help customers get better sleep

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop, plan, implement, and manage all sales and marketing activities to maximize sales and profits consistent with the goals of the company.

- Responsible for meeting current sales metrics and goals.- Responsible for adhering to all sales processes and procedures as established by region and by Corporate.

- Responsible for executing promotions and meeting or exceeding established sales goals.

- Responsible for handling customer service issues.- Responsible for monitoring store merchandise to maintain optimum inventory levels.

- Must accurately track inventory and receive shipments into store location.

- Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures.

- Responsible for maintaining store standards and appearance as established by Corporate.

- Must be able to work independently in a retail store front.
