Linen Attendant
Pay: $17.00 per hour

Purpose:
The Linen Attendant is responsible for the preparation and prepackaging of all guest room linen and/or in-room guest amenities as assigned. The includes following all company policies and procedure in accordance with property manuals. This position also performs various tasks relating to special projects, inventory, and other duties as assigned.
Primary Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Business:
The Linen Attendant will work 8 to 10+ hours per shift, 5 or 6+ days each week, based on occupancy and staffing demand. Holidays and weekends are affected by peak demand which means all team members must work together during those days to keep our operations running efficiently.
- Complete daily prepacking of linen and/or amenities for assigned rooms to company standard within designated time frames.
- Check all linen and terry for stains/rips and remove as needed.
- Receive and properly store and turn all linen from the laundering company.
- Complete inventory counts on linen and terry as assigned.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- To distribute linen/pre-packed linen and/or amenities to corresponding buildings and floors.
- Complete side work and special projects as assigned.
- To be knowledgeable of the area including events and trends.
- To maintain the highest level of cleanliness and care throughout the property grounds, common areas, back-of-house areas, and guest rooms.
- Management reserves the right to change, remove or add to these duties as necessary.

- Ability to communicate effectively and use the English language fluently: speak, understand, read, and write. Adapt Spanish interpretation when necessary.
- Ability to work individually and as a team.
- Ability to consistently observe, measure, and inspect rooms, common areas, and grounds in all aspects.
- Digitally savvy with the ability to become knowledgeable, in regard to team member training, learn and use of the Purple Cloud system and Paycor system is required. Software systems may be deleted and/or added with innovations in new technology.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail (ATD).
Education / Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Housekeeping and/or janitorial experience required.
- Fun and energetic.
- Responsible and timely.
- Must have reliable transportation.

Essential Functions:
Specific vision abilities required for this job include peripheral, distance, close, and depth perception and the ability to adjust vision focus. The employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and sit, use hands to finger, touch, handle, and feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb and descend numerous flights of stairs consistently. The employee is required to use hand, arm, and leg to reach, bend, push, pull, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds daily on their own. Ability to tolerate various temperatures while working outdoors with exposure to high or low temperatures, sun, humidity, and chemicals. Some work will be performed indoors. Stand and walk for the majority of the day. This position requires continuous ability to remember information.
