Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to expand our business throughout the United States. The ideal candidate has an established network within the furniture, outdoor living, home furnishings, textile, or distribution industries and a proven track record of generating sales growth.
This position offers an attractive commission structure and the opportunity to represent a well-established textile manufacturer with extensive manufacturing capabilities and flexible product development support.
Existing relationships with furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, outdoor furniture companies, or home furnishing accounts are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with furniture manufacturers, fabric distributors, converters, retailers, and other key industry accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in outdoor furniture, upholstery, home furnishings, hospitality, and related markets.
- Promote Hengtex’s performance and upholstery fabrics and customized textile solutions.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products to support their business needs.
- Generate sales growth through new account development and expansion of existing accounts.
- Conduct product presentations, sample reviews, and customer meetings.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing, programs, and business agreements with customers.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in textile, furniture, home furnishings, upholstery fabric, outdoor fabric, or related industries.
- Established relationships with furniture manufacturers, distributors, retailers, or buying groups preferred.
- Proven ability to develop new business and close sales opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of wholesale distribution channels and the U.S. furniture industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
