Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, common areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks including deep cleaning of machinery or large areas as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance
- Assist with custodial responsibilities such as trash removal, restocking supplies, and minor maintenance tasks
- Support facilities maintenance efforts by reporting repairs or safety hazards promptly
- Use commercial cleaning tools effectively while adhering to safety protocols to ensure efficient operations
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment
- Strong understanding of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing for various surfaces
- Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks with attention to detail and safety standards
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and supplies for different environments
- Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the shift
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
