Full Job Description

Job Overview
Are you a Math or Physics PhD with a strong background in digital signal processing and related technologies? We’re seeking bright, analytical minds to join our innovative team. In this unique role you’ll receive specialized training, and work to develop cutting-edge audio algorithms and digital signal processing techniques. Apply your skills to practical applications in the dynamic field of audio technology. If you're ready to push the boundaries of sound and engineering, we want to hear from you!

Anyone with significant experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with a track record of excellence in this field are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

Develop new tools, algorithms, and/or design new experiments to further our scientific understanding.
Conduct research in a topical area using theory, experiment, and/or simulation tools.
dereverberation, VAD, and BSS by using both subjective and objective measures, and with speech recognition engines.
Designing fast and efficient acoustic DSP algorithms for implementation on embedded processors.
Coordinate software development activities with other DSP engineers such as prototyping and tuning algorithms to meet and exceed customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working as a Math professional.
Projects or work experience with Digital Signal Processing.
Strong understanding of linear algebra, calculus, and Fourier analysis.
Theoretical and working knowledge of adaptive signal processing and stochastic processes.
Experience developing software for embedded systems.
Experience workings with systems utilizing beamforming and/or phased arrays.

Required Qualifications:

Education: PhD in Math/Physics.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
