Due to rapid growth in California we are seeking Mental Health NPs for our openings in San Diego, CA, preferring an experienced bilingual candidate although not required.
This program provides intensive, community-based case management services for homeless adults throughout San Diego County. We deliver fully-integrated services to clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance disorders.
IMPACT Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Services
- Outpatient mental health and psychiatric case management for high-risk homeless mentally ill individuals in Downtown San Diego
- Provide services to individuals in the community that include intensive case management, psychiatric care, vocational services, and integrated services for mental health and substance abuse issues.
- Adult Services at IMPACT
- 20 hours of coverage per week
- 2 10-hours days per week plus 1 additional day per month
- Caseload is roughly 150
- Dedicated front office staff, translators, and clinicians supporting Psychiatrists to focus on medical management and providing good patient care
REQUIREMENTS:
- The Nurse Practitioner will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- MINIMUM* of 1 year prior PMHNP-specific experience. Unfortunately, we cannot entertain new graduates at this time*
- Must be organized, detail oriented, self motivated and a self starter.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current PMHNP license and certification to practice as an advanced practice nurse in CA with a focus in Psychiatry.

Pay: $119.70 - $141.75 per hour
