UCBEnvironmental is a family of companies focused on Sustainable Sustainability™. Through our five distinct divisions: UsedCardboardBoxes.com, UCBPalletSolutions, UCBOrganicWaste, UCBTrading and UCBZeroWaste… we service many of the largest, most trusted brands in the country!
UCBZeroWaste is a comprehensive fully managed waste reduction program. We are not a hauler! Nor do we compete with haulers; We manage them! We partner with the world leading companies to implement our proven methodology to reduce waste by focusing on the origin of waste (inside the building) as well as the processing of waste (outside the building). Our comprehensive programs include waste reduction, recycling, reuse, resale as well as de-packaging, digesting, composting and/or waste-to energy (WTE). UCBZeroWaste offers a (no-cost) comprehensive waste audit in order to quantify the financial and environmental opportunity.

Summary
The Client Success Manager at UCBZeroWaste is the corporate relationship owner for assigned enterprise clients after contract signature. This is a proactive, high-responsibility role focused on retention, expansion, and executive alignment—not day-to-day site implementation.
You’ll safeguard the corporate relationship, ensure program health, and keep corporate and plant teams aligned with the signed scope. You’ll run the executive cadence (launch check-ins, monthly updates, Quarterly Business Reviews), surface risks early, and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly. Success means clients renew with confidence, expand programs over time, and cite you as a key reason for their partnership with UCBZeroWaste.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate strategic relationships with corporate stakeholders across ESG, Procurement, Operations, and Executive leadership.
- Continuously monitor account health—surfacing risks, resolving blockers, and uncovering growth opportunities.
- Coordinate closely with Implementation Managers and Sustainability PMs to align on metrics, initiatives, and client communication.
- Deliver client-facing reporting, sustainability data, and insights that help clients hit their ESG goals and secure internal buy-in.
- Lead preparation and facilitation of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), semi-annual impact reviews, and annual account strategy sessions.
- Administer and analyze client satisfaction surveys, translating feedback into action.
- Identify opportunities for client expansion through new site launches, pilot initiatives, internal events, or co-marketing wins.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in WATER to ensure internal alignment and continuity.
- Serve as the escalation point for urgent issues—guiding resolution with professionalism and urgency.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- 4–5+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Strategic Partnerships—with enterprise or multi-site clients experience running programs with millions of dollars in value.
- Experience supporting sustainability, ESG, Zero Waste, or shared-savings programs is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Implementation, Sustainability, Operations, and Business Development teams.
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and visual.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and documentation.
- Familiarity with waste/recycling, supply chain, or sustainability consulting is ideal.
