Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic , detail-oriented Catering and Events Intern to join our private country club team. This role directly supports the Catering Manager with the administrative paperwork, member communications, and logistical planning required to execute flawless club events. You will gain hands-on experience in luxury hospitality, working on private member parties, weddings, corporate golf outings, and club-wide social traditions.

Duties

Draft, update, and distribute Banquet Event Orders to the culinary and service teams.
File and organize event contracts, deposit receipts, and signed member authorization forms.
Help compile post-event summaries, cross-reference itemized receipts, and process event charges to member accounts.
Use Club software to generate seating charts, buffet layouts, and room setup diagrams.
Answer the catering office phone, log member event inquiries, and check date availability in the master calendar.
Manage RSVP's, table requests, and dietary restriction logs for large Club social events.
Print customized menus, buffet labels, place cards, and tournament signage.
Assemble informational catering packets and pricing guides for potential clients and members.

Experience

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management, Country Club Management, Business, or related field.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and polish suited for a private club environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and an ability to quickly learn club management software (Jonas).
Exceptional organizational skills to handle multi-page event contracts and precise billing details.
Ability to work a consistent office schedule, with occasional flexibility for weekend or holiday club events.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
